Abstract

PURPOSE: To adjust the image pick-up condition accurately, by detecting the scattered light scattered by the hologram by means of a photo detector disposed in a position avoiding the optical path of the hologram reconstructed image, and adjusting the image pick-up condition with the output signal thereof.
CONSTITUTION: A hologram plate 1 in which a hologram is recorded is radiated by a reconstructing light 2 made from laser beams from a laser beam source, and a hologram reconstructed image 3 is focused and picked up on an image pick-up plane of an image pick-up device 4. The video signal from the image pick-up device 4 is processed in a video signal processing circuit 5, and a desired video signal is obtained. In this case, the scattered light 6 scattered by the hologram is detected by a photo detector 7 which is disposed in a position avoiding the optical path of the hologram reconstructed image 3, and the video signal processing circuit 5 is controlled with this detected signal.
