Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the subject device wherein a reflection mirror is embedded in a recessed part at the proximal end of a photo-permeating member thereby to precisely locating the reflection mirror, to reduce the irregularities of the product and to increase the acid resistance to prolong the life of the device. CONSTITUTION:A remote measuring part 1 carries out power supply to a luminous source 2 and measurement of a measuring current from photosensitive element 3. At the base portion of a cylindrical light permeating member 4 there are provided a luminous source 2 and an element 3, and at the recessed part at the proximal end of the member 4 there is embedded a reflection mirror 6 which is constituted by evaporating a metal film 8 on a substrate 7, and fixed thereto by means of a bonding resin 9. Two stripes of slits 10 and 10' are formed around the full periphery at the lateral side of the light permeating member 4. Accordingly, light rays from the luminous source 2 are curved in the liquid 11 to be measured by the slits and thereafter again curved in the liquid 11 and reach the element 3.
