Abstract

PURPOSE: The welding machine of a wide welding execution range consisting of the high frequency power source device which converts commercial frequencies to high frequencies and is capable of controlling, the high frequency welding transformer which converts high frequency power source to welding current and the pressing mechanism containing electrodes and conductor.
CONSTITUTION: Alternating current of commercial frequency of a power source 1 is converted to direct current by a convertor 2 and said direct current is converted to high frequency current by an invertor 4. The high frequency current is further converted to the suitable welding current by a transformer 7 and is supplied to an electrode 9 to spot- or projection weld the object 10 to be welded. The electrode 6 and the object to be welded are connected to the secondary side of the transformer 7 by means of conductors 8 respectively. The adjustment of the welding current, the setting of the output time of high frequency and the adjustment of slope are accomplished respectively by variable resistors 3, 5, 6. Since this welding machine is short in the minimum unit time when current control is possible, the welding current of fast rise may be flowed to the object to be welded.
