Abstract

PURPOSE: To perfectly fusion weld and bond a screen and other metal extremely easily by providing protrusions to the fusion welding part of the other metal member to be fusion welded to the screen and performing pressure low resistance welding.
CONSTITUTION: A frame body 5 is formed in approximately U-form in such a matter that both convex flight parts 5c, 5c' of the frame body 5 oppose. The outer edge la of a screen 1 is inserted between both convex flight parts 5c, 5c'. Next, the frame body 5 is interposed between the electrode parts 10a, 10b of a welding device and the frame body 5 is pressed by both electrode parts 10a, 10b to closely contact the convex flight parts 5c, 5c' and screen 1. While the frame body 5 is being pressed by the electrode parts 10a, 10b, welding current is supplied. Here, the ends of the respective convex flight parts 5c, 5c' are sharp and therefore the current density at the end parts is low and the respective convex flight parts 5c, 5c' and screen 1 are in linearly close contact. Hence, overheating of the fine wires constituting the screen 1 does not occur owing to decreased density of welding current and the screen 1 and the respective convex flight parts 5c, 5c' are perfectly fusion welded.
