Abstract

PURPOSE:To make weldable the metallic body independently of the thickness of dielectric oxide film, and to stabilize the weld strength, in the case that the metallic body is welded to another metallic body whose surface is oxidized to be an insulator, by forming a layer of conductive substance over the outer surface of the surface- oxidized metallic body. CONSTITUTION:The conductive substance 4 like as the conductive adhesives is applied over the periphery of the dielectric oxide film 2. Then, when the outgoing line 3 is to be welded by the resistance welding, the welding current, supplied from the upper electrode 5 of the resistance welder, flows through the conductive substance 4. The contact point, between the metallic outgoing line 1 and outgoing line 3, generates a heat due to this current flowing through the conductive substance 4; also, the dielectric oxide film 2 is destructed by this heat, so that the metallic outgoing line 1 and the outgoing line 3 are perfectly welded. According to this method, can be obtained the weld strength equivalent to the welding in the case that the dielectric oxide film does not exist.
