Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the structure and miniaturize the apparatus and improve the efficiency of separating oil by forming a space into which the stream of oil containing gas ejected from a discharge port flows, bent sharply. CONSTITUTION:The oil containing gas discharged from a closed operation space 7 is stream-arranged during passing through a dishcarge passage 9 and ejected from an exit, and only the oil contained and having a large momentum flows into a first separation chamber 17 through a short pipe 16, and the gas is bent sharply through the slit between the discharge passage 9 and the short pipe 16, and flows into a second separation chamber 18 limited by a rear case 4 and a second partition plate 27. The oil which flows into the first separation chamber 17 collides with the inner wall of the chamber 17 and falls in drops and is collected in the lower part and further collected at the bottom of the space 12 in a housing 11 from the bottom discharge port 22. The sectional area of the discharge port 22 is set so that a fixed amount of oil is stored in the first separation chamber 17, and the same amount of oil, to the oil which flows into the chamber 17 can be discharged calmly.
