Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a radial tire tread for passenger cars, which can be favorably compared with styrene-butadiene-rubber in the frictional properties on the wet road and the rolling resistance.
CONSTITUTION: A radial tire tread for passenger cars, containing a rubber composition composed of about 55W90 parts by weight of styrene-butadiene rubber and about 45W10 parts of a natural rubber and/or a polyisoprene rubber. The tire is pref. reinforced with steel belt.
