Abstract
PURPOSE: To accurately detect currents put out from a direct current high-tension generator, by preventing the flowing of alternating current currents to a closed circuit, and by letting only high-tension output currents flow through a detecting resistance.
CONSTITUTION: The high-tension output of a high-tension transformer 1 is obtained by means of a Cockcroft-Walton type high-tension rectifying circuit 6 formed by means of condensers 8 and diodes 7. A shield conductor 5 of a core 2 of the high- tension transformer 1 is connected to an earth terminal 9 of the high-tension rectifying circuit 6 without directly earthing with an earthing point 10, and connected to the earthing point 10 through a resistance 11 for detection from the terminal 9. Thus, accurate direct current output currents can be detected because alternating current currents flowing among the core 2, the shield conductor 5 and a secondary winding 4 do not flow through the resistance 11 for detection by reason of distributed capacity and detecting voltage obtained between the terminals of the resistance 11 for detection becomes to approximate, perfect direct current.
