Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect an accident of a single phase transformer having a plurality of unit transformers connected in parallel with each other and to enable the identification of any of a plurality of unit transformers by mounting a bushing type current transformer at the position before the line terminal lead wire of at least one transformer is connected in parallel when the single phase transformer is composed of a plurality of unit transformers. CONSTITUTION:Unit transformers 11, 21, 31 of the same rated specification are employed, high voltage coils 21, 22, 23 and low voltage coils 32, 33, 34 are connected in parallel with each other to form a single phase transformer. Then, bushing type current transformers 41, 42, 43 are inserted at the position before the lead wires led from the coils 21, 22, 23 of the respective transformers 11, 12, 13 are connected in parallel. At this time the current transformers are not all provided, but one may be provided. In this manner, the currents flowing through the coils 21, 22, 23 are measured. When the currents are normal, and current values should be equal.
