Abstract

PURPOSE: To exactly detect earthing block and also to perform stable power transmission by providing a current thansformer between insulated tank and the ground and by arranging on its secondary side overvoltage protective device, parallel and serial reactor, rectifying device, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The block 3 is isolated from adjacent block by means of the insulated spacer 2. The earthing detecting device 10 is provided with the current transformer 11 whose primary conductor is connected to the tank of the block 3, one of gas insulations, and the ground. The terminal of the secondary winding 13 of the current transformer 11 is connected through the overvoltage protective device 14, the parallel condenser 15, the parallel reactor 16, and serial reactor 17 to the rectifying device 18 whode D.C. terminal is connected to the condenser 19 and the indicator 20. When the primary current I1 flows, the secondary voltage V2 based on the secondary current I2 becomes a value determined by the parallel reactance 16, and it charges the condenser 19 and then operates the indicator 20 to display an indication that an earthing trouble occurred in the block 3
