Abstract
PURPOSE:To cool said loading device economically and steadily by supplying cooling gas which cools and circulates in a case covering the driving part of a bell-less type material loading device of a blast furnace. CONSTITUTION:Cooling gas 19 is pressurized (18), then its temperature is adjusted by a cooler 4 and the necessary amount of cooling gas is supplied into a casing 2. On the other hand, used gas is recovered from the casing 2 through a recovering port 8, dust is removed (9) from the gas, then the gas is pressurized (10) and cooled in a heat exchanger 11 and returned to the casing 2 again through a loading port 3'. In this case, the temperature of recovered cooling gas is detected with a thermometer 12 and, for example, the amount of cooling water through the heat exchanger 11 is adjusted with a valve 14 by a control device 13 to adjust the cooling capacity of the heat exchanger 11. By so doing, even when the cooling gas supplying system breaks down, cooling gas can be circulated by the recovering system alone.
