Abstract
PURPOSE:To manufacture this zinc plated steel plate for sheath that its surface after coating is smooth and is excellent in corrosion resistance, by suppressing the formation of molten metal wrinkle by adjusting the roughness of a surface of the steel plate in response to the thickness of plating before introducing the plate in a melted zinc bath when producing this melted zinc plated steel plate. CONSTITUTION:When producing this zinc plated steel plate that can be used for an outside plate of a car body of an automobile and an outside plate of a household electric machine, the roughness of a surface is adjusted before introducing the plate in a melted zinc plating bath. A skin pass mill, etc. are utilized as surface roughness regulators, and the roughness of the surface is adjusted so that an expression Rmax/H>=1/3 be formed when the thickness of a zinc layer to be plated is H and the maximum height of the roughness of the surface is Rmax. The plate is melted zinc plated, and the quantity of zinc that adheres is adjusted to object thickness by injecting gas. This plate has a plated layer with effective thickness in the corrosion resistance aspect, and plated surface can be made up which can sufficiently resist use as sheath plates and is excellent in surface properties.
