Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A paste consisting of pulverized coal or lignin, a catalyst, and a heavy oil is made to react, at 400W500°C, with a gas having a hydrogen partial pressure of 120W700kg/cm2 to carry out thermal cracking to obtain a hydrogenated product of a hydrogen content of 6W8 wt%.
