Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent putrefaction and deterioration of foodstuffs, etc. by compounding one or more kinds of Fe, Cu or Zn and hydrous sodium borate salt and further metal halide and filler and adsorbing O2 in a vessel. CONSTITUTION:One or more kinds of Fe, Cu or Zn of 10 mesh or under, particularly 100 mesh or under in grain size, hydrous sodium borate salt such as NaBO2, 4H2O or further metal halide such as NaCl and/or fillers (e.g., plaster, acid clay) are compounded. This product is used for holding of foodstuffs, drugs, metals, precision machines which may degrade or deteriorate with O2, etc. and is also used as a heating medium and heat insulating material.
