Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide useful alkali resistant glass with superior alkali resistance contg. a specified mol% of Na2O, BaO, Al2O3, TiO2 and ZrO2 which glass is used as a material for cement-reinforcing glass fiber and a strong alkali soln. container.
CONSTITUTION: The alkali resistant glass contains, by mol, Na2O+BaO 20W40% (Na2O 0W16%), Al2O3 5W25% and TiO2+ZrO2 44W65% (ZrO2 0W13%), and the total amt. of them occupies above 85% of the compsn.
