Abstract
PURPOSE: TO conduct methane fermentation in high efficiency, under definite pH cndition, by crushing and liquefying the fermentation raw materials with a disposer, preparing a phosphate buffer solution from the liquid, and conducting the fermentation in the solution.
CONSTITUTION: Fermentation raw materials are crushed and liquefied with a disposer. A 0.2 mole KH2PO4 solution and 0.2 mole NaOH solution are prepared using the above liquid in place of water, and mixed together to obtain a phosphate buffer solution. Methane fermentation is carried out in the phosphate buffer solution in high efficiency and high rate of fermentation under definite pH condition.
