Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure the output of the pulse featuring about 1/2 division ratio at all times by allowing the direct input for the pulse and with no actuation of the gate circuit in case N features an even number and actuating the gate circuit every second time in case N is an odd number respectively. CONSTITUTION:Register circuit 6 perorms registering in the binary number for division ratio N; 2<m-1> counter 7 counts up to 2<m-1> with the minimum integer of m satisfying M<=2<m> in the case of the maximum number of M; coincidence circuit 8 secures the coincidence between the output of circuit 6 and counter 7; and waveform shaping circuit 11 resets assuredly counter 7 by the output of circuit 8. Then the output of circuit 11 receives 1/2 division 9 to be delivered, and at the same time gate circuit 10 deletes one shot of the pulse which is supplied to counter 7 via the external command. In other words, the pulse is supplied directly with no actuation of circuit 10 when N features an even number, and circuit 10 is actuated every second time in the case of N showing an odd number respectively. As a result, the pulse featuring about 1/2 division ratio can be delivered at all times.
