Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a molded member from cracking and facilitate balancing, by setting the length of a shaft sleeve smaller than that of the molded member and by providing a guide groove on one end face of the sleeve to make balancing holes. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve 1, which is tightly fitted on a rotary shaft, is integrated with a commutator bar 2 by a molded member 3. The axial length of the sleeve 1 is set smaller than that of the molded member 3. A flange 1 is provided on one end of the sleeve 1 and exposed at the molded member. A guide groove 12 is provided on the peripheral surface of the flange 11 to make balancing holes. The inside diameter D1 of the part of the hole 31 of the molded member 3, which is in contact with the other end face of the sleeve 1, is set small but the inside diameter of the hole 31 is increased as D2 away from the end face. As a result, the molded member 3 does not crack when a rotary shaft is tightly fitted.
