Abstract

PURPOSE:To rationally apply a remaining thrust force to a ball bearing and provide a motor of high reliability, by mounting a sleeve bearing and the ball bearing for the motor having a gap perpendicular to a shaft. CONSTITUTION:A casing 7 fixec with a permanent magnet 6 that faces a stator yoke 9 is secured on a casing boss 8 fixed on a shaft 13 to manufacture a permanent magnet rotor. The stator yoke 9 fixed with a coil 5 is secured on a casing 3 to manufacture a stator. A ball bearing 10 and a sleeve bearing 12 are mounted on a sleeve 11 secured on the casing 3. The shaft 13 is rotatably supported by the ball bearing and the sleeve bearing. A bearing stopper 1 is provided on the shaft at the side of the sleeve bearing 12 opposite the ball bearing 10. As a result, a thrust force equal to the difference between the gravity of a motor and an attractive force caused between the stator yoke 9 and the permanent magnet 6 is slways applied to the ball bearing 10 to support the shaft 13 with no clearance.
