Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the coupling circuit of the hemi-coaxial cavity resonator and then ensure the close coupling, by forming the coupling circuit with the conductors provided on both surfaces of the dielectric substrate. CONSTITUTION:Sapphire substrate 7-1, 7-2 and 7-3 are used for coupling circuits 6-1, 6-2 and 6-3 which are used for the hemi-coaxial cavity resonator 1 consisting of outer conductor 2 inner conductor 3 plus high-dielectric material 4 each. Then the magnetic coupling loop formed with strip lines 8-1 and 8-2 is formed on both surfaces of substrate 7-4 which is used as substrate 7-1, 7-2 and 7-3 each. And semiconductor integrated circuit 9 is connected to one end of line 8-1 on the surface; while earth conductor 10 is connected to one end of line 8-2 on the rear surface respectively. Furthermore, the connection is secured via through-hole 11 between lines 8-1 and 8-2 on the surface and rear surface of substrate 7-4 in order to secure the double coupling loop. As a result, the magnetic flux linkage amount is increased, thus strengthening the coupling between resonator 1 and the external connecting circuit.
