Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Corn potage soup composed of (A) 15W45wt% of sweet corn, (B) 0.1W5wt% of wheat flour, (C) 1W40wt% of a dairy product such as milk and a vegetable oil, (D) 20W70wt% of water, (E) 0.01W1wt% of a stabilizer such as xanthan gum, carrageenan, gum guaiac, etc., and (F) 0.1W2wt% of a seasoning, is homogenized once or pref. two or more times with a homogenizer under 0W 150kg/cm2 pressure, sterilized by heating directly at, e.g. 130W150°C for 2W4sec, cooled rapidly at about 5°C, and sealed aseptically in a closed vessel.
