CONSTITUTION:X-rays passing through the fluorescent screen base plate 1 passes through the Zn-CdS fluorescent substance particles 5 and then converted one point inside a CsI columnar crystal to emit light. The converted light diffusing in the lateral direction, although the converted light exhibits luminescence in every direction, is limited to the inside of the condenser 3 of the CsI columnar crystal because the CsI columnar crystal constitutes the condensers 3 for every the Zn-CdS fluorescent substance particle 5 in the lower layer and also because each condenser 3 has fine apertures. Thus, the cross-talk between the condensers can be eliminated.
