Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate bad influences due to the negative pressue to the float chamber of a carburetor having venturis for LPG and gasoline by connecting the float chamber to the upper downstream side of the LPG venturi.
CONSTITUTION: A LPG venturi 7 having nozzle holes 8 for LPG, a gasoline venturi 1 having a main nozzle 2 for gasoline, and a flange 5 having a throttle valve 6 are vertically arranged, Bleeders 11 and 13 having restrictors 10 and 12 respectively are opened to the upper parts of the LPG venturi 7 and the gasoline venturi 1 respectively, and communicated with the upper space in a float chamber 4 through a vent passage 14. Thus, the negative-pressure change produced in the LPG venturi 7 is not transmitted directly to the float chamber 4, so that no change is produced in the fuel supply from the main nozzle 2.
