Abstract

PURPOSE: To make a unit cheap and enhance the constant temperature precision and prevent pollution, by providing a post main body, which stores a thermostat part equipped with a radiant- ray detector, a temperature detector, and a heater and is equipped with a defensive filter and a ventilating means in the outlet and inlet for forced ventilation, separately from the power source main body where a signal processing part and a power source are stored.
CONSTITUTION: Thermostat part 8 in a post main body is constituted by a radiant-ray detector, a heater, and a thermal insulator. The output of the radiant-ray detector is converted to an environmental γ-ray exposure dose and is recorded in the signal processing part in the electric power source main body installed separately. The set temperature in thermostat part 8 is fixed near the maximum of the external environmental temperature. In case that the environmental temperature is lower than the set temperature, control is performed for the fixed temperature by heating of the heater. In case that the environmental temperature is higher than the set temperature, thermostat part 8 is kept at a fixed temperature by ventilating forcedly through ventilating outlet and inlet 10a and 10b by ventilating fan 11. Consequently, the temperature control unit becomes cheap, and the constant temperature precision is good, and pollution dependent upon dust, insects, and so on is reduced.
