Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a deodorizing material, adsorbing effect thereof is high and shape thereof is arbitrary, by a method wherein a plastic foaming body, in which bubbles are continuously formed, manufactured by introducing a cation radical or an anion radical into a molecule of polyurethane foam is used as the deodorizing material.
CONSTITUTION: Continuous foaming urethane, in molecule thereof there is an ionic radical, is manufactured from a polyol component, a chain prolonger component for introducing a cation radical or an anion radical and a polyisocyanate component and used as a deodorizing material. Since the deodorizing material is formed in continuous cells and microstructure with large surface polarity, malodorous components are diffused to the inside from foam small holes and adsorbed, and the material is formed into arbitrary shape.
