PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a light-weight and large-internal loss diaphragm, by using a polyurethane, which has independent bubbles of a higher foaming magnification toward the center, as the diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:Diaphragm 3 is formed with a polyurethane which has independent bubbles of a higher foaming magnification toward the center. Therefore, diaphragm 3 is low-density and light-weight and has a three-dimensional structure, so that stiffness can be improved and elastic modulus and internal loss can be high in diaphragm 3. For production of this diaphragm, isocyanate, polyol, and a blowing agent are mixed, and this liquid material is injected into a closed mold immediately. In this closed mold, polymerization reaction is caused to form a polyurethane, and the blowing agent is decomposed by heat generated at this time. In this case, the polyurethane is hardly foamed in parts brought into contact with the closed mold and forms independent bubbles of a higher foaming magnification toward the center because the temperature of the closed mold is low.
