Abstract
PURPOSE: To remove HCl in exhaust gas efficiently by a dry method by a mechanism wherein a pulverulent body nozzle for injecting Ca group powdery chemicals into an exhaust gas duct is fitted at a front location of an electric precipitator, and the powdery chemicals are uniformly diffused into the exhaust gas.
CONSTITUTION: A pulverulent body nozzle for injecting Ca group powdery chemicals into an exhaust gas duct is installed at a front location of an electric precipitator mounted with an incinerator, an exhaust gas cooling portion, etc. in a series shape, exhaust gas in the duct reaching the electric precipitator from the pulverulent body nozzle is brought to a turbulent condition, and the Ca group chemicals are uniformly diffused into the exhaust gas, and smoothly reacted with HCl gas. For example, the exhaust gas duct 1 is constricted at the front location of a portion entering the electric precipitator 2, and a diameter of a portion between the electric precipitator 2 and the constricted portion is sharply made larger just after the duct 1. Thus, a gas current is difused, a turbulent flow is generated, the Ca group powdery chemicals supplied from the nozzles 4 are equally dispersed into the gas current, and reaction is smoothly promoted.
