Abstract
PURPOSE:To mix a reducing agent perfectly and uniformly into an exhaust gas at short mixing distances, in a device of injecting the reducing agent into exhaust gas flow, by disposing injecting pipe groups having injecting nozzles within two or more planes differing with respect to the exhaust gas flow. CONSTITUTION:In the device of injecting NH3 etc. as a reducing agent for removing the NOX etc. in an exhaust gas, a reducing agent (NH3 etc.) header 3 is provided on the outside of the flue 2 for the above-mentioned exhaust gas on the upper stream of the catalyst layer and a reducing agent injecting pipe 3b provided with a plurality of nozzles 3c from the header 3a is inserted onto the plane orthogonal to the flow of the exhaust gas in the flue 2; further another injecting pipe 3b' is disposed on the upper stream side of the pipe 3b.
