Abstract

PURPOSE: To realize the high-accuracy automatic measurement with no effect of noise received, by carrying out the measurement of the weight based on the space of the holography interference fringes.
CONSTITUTION: When measured subject 6 is placed on measurement board 7, deformed board 9 is deformed to 9'. The wave surface of board 9 is recorded to hologram 13 so that the reflected light sent from board 9 may overlap the reference light sent from light source 12. The holography fringes are picked up by pickup tube 14, and the video signals are applied to arithmetic processor 15. Then the space of the interference fringes is obtained through processor 15, and then the weight of subject 1 is obtained based on the space of the interference fringes and via the relation decided by the deformation property of board 9. And the result of the weight calculation is displayed on display unit 16. In this case, the space of the interference fringes can be obtained easily by means of the horizontal scanning line passing through the center of the concentric pattern since the center of the concentric pattern has no shift.
