Abstract

PURPOSE:To maintain a uniform printing pressure and to form a liquid crystal thin film having a high accuracy in its size and thickness by a method wherein a printed material supporting pedestal is mounted on a printing device via a load applying mechanism of which force applying direction is kept uniform and makes a linear movement. CONSTITUTION:On the flat bet 1 which is movable in synchroneous with a rotation of the printing barrel or cylinder 11 at all times is mounted a cylinder 2 having a motive force medium and a plunger 3 which is reciprocated linearly by a force applied through the medium. The supporting rod 4 positioned on the flat bed 1 is used as a guide, a vertically moving pedestal 5 connected to the plunger 3 at its lower end is provided, while a pipe passage 8 having a gas accumulator 6, a pressure control valve 7 arranged in this sequence from the cylinder is connected to the cylinder 2, resulting in constituting a load applying mechanism for the printed material and the printing barrel along with the motive force medium filled in these means.
