Abstract
PURPOSE: To unnecessitate such considerations involved in the conventional methods such as the use of a setting retarder and the continuous construction of unhardened piles at the time of overlapping between a new pier and precast pier, by a method wherein the outside peripheral portion of a pier is composed of two kinds of layers covered with soft material, in a secant piling method.
CONSTITUTION: An inner casing 2 is inserted into a casing tube 1, a soft hardening agent 4 having water cutting-off property such as soil concrete is placed in the space around the outside peripheral surface of the inner casing 2, and the tube 1 is drawn out. Then, concrete is placed in the casing 2, and the casing is drawn out. As a result, a pile is obtained which comprises a concrete pier (CP)5 covered on its outside peripheral surface with a soft hardening agent 4. Since the CP5 is hardened with the inner casing 2 as a form, it has no outward projection. Therefore, the cutting of the hardening agent 4 for overlapping the piles in the form of a column row is conducted without any obstruction.
