Abstract
PURPOSE: To manufacture the title core sheet of good flex resistance, shape retention, and bonding to shoe upper material, by blending two sorts of specific thermoplastic elastomers in polyethylene to form into a sheet-like product.
CONSTITUTION: 100 parts by wt. of a composition consisting of (1) 30W70 parts by wt. of polyethylene, (2) 20W60 parts by wt. of a styrene-butadiene type thermo- plastic elastomer, and (3) 0W40 parts by wt. of an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer type thermoplastic elastomer is incorporated with a filler, lubricant, autioxidant, anti-heat deterioration agnet, etc., followed by heating and melting to obtain a homogeneous mixture; which is then formed into a sheet of 0.1W2 mm thick by inflation, T-die method, etc. A hot-melt type adhesive is coated on the single or both surfaces of the sheet.
