Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a resin compsn. which is nontoxic, has good high-frequency weldability and is useful for forming tarpaulin, by mixing a thermoplastic polyurethane resin and an ethylene-vinyl acetate-vinyl chloride terpolymer with an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin.
CONSTITUTION: There is provided a synthetic resin compsn. obtd. by mixing a thermoplastic polyurethane resin and an ethylene-vinyl acetate-vinyl chloride terpolymer (B) with an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin (A) in a weight ratio of A/B=50W90/50W10. This synthetic resin compsn. is nontoxic and superior to the resin (A) alone in high-frequency weldability, weld strength, flexibility and wear resistance. When this resin compsn. is molded into a flexible container and used as tarpaulin, the produced article is very superior to conventional articles.
