Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent abrasion due to the thickness of oil film by providing a mechanism in which a vibration transmitting medium is pressured by a pressure cylinder in the axial direction so that the pressure applied to the pressure cylinder can be adjusted in relation to the number of turns of the rotary body to be measured.
CONSTITUTION: The pressure cylinder 1 is secured so that the probe 5 can be made contact with the body 10 to be measured in a state wherein the fluid pressure applied to the pressure cylinder 1 is zero, and the vibrometer proper is fixed to a position at which it is linked to the other end of the vibration transmitting medium. Moreover the compressed air pipe 22 is led from the compressed air source 20 to the inlet 2 of the pressure cylinder 1 through the pressure regulator valve 21.
