Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce the cold rolled steel plate of high lankford value by cold rolling the hot rolled steel plate of two-phase structure composed of ferrite and free low- temperature transformation phase as a blank and further box-annealing the same. CONSTITUTION:The low-carbon slab containing C; 0.02-0.10%, Si<1.0%, Mn; 0.2-1.5%, Al<0.08%, N<0.01% is hot rolled to plate material. In the process of cooling this hot rolled steel plate, it is quenched from the temperature of the A1 transformation point or more and A3 transformation point or less down to Ms point or less to be made into the two-phase structure composed of ferrite and low-temperature transformation phase of volume retio 5-40% (perferably martensite). After this hot rolled blank is cold rolled to a steel plate, the steel plate is batch-annealed in a box type annealing furnace, whereby the cold rolled steel plate of high lankford value is obtained.
