Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent contact consumption due to change-over of a tap and enable an ozonizer to withstand long-term use by attaching taps to a boosting transformer and performing changeover of each tap with no load to supply electric power to the ozonizer.
CONSTITUTION: When electric current I becomes stable at time t1, and switch 6 is shut, regular operation is carried out at stationary current I1 through a little transitional phenomenon. When voltage V2 is required from the output request of ozonizer 1, switches 4, 6 are first opened to break the voltage applied to ozonizer 1 as shown by time t2. In load-free period t2Wt3 with no voltage applied, tap change- over unit 5 is actuated and connected to tap S2. At time t3 switch 4 is shut to apply a voltage through controlled resistance 7, at time t4 switch 6 is shut, and regular operation if carried out at voltage V2. When voltage V3 is required at time t5, switches 4, 6 and unit 5 are similarly actuated to change-over the tap with no load, and regular operation is carried out.
