Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve efficiency on utilizing induced voltage of a transformer and also to control supply operation according to a load current by a system wherein a power is impressed from an intermediate tap of a primary winding of transformer, and a voltage doubler circuit is provided on a secondary winding side. CONSTITUTION:A power 3 is impressed from an intermediate tap of a primary winding of transformer 4. A driving signal is applied to terminals 10, 11 alternately, transistors (TR)12, 13 are thus turned on/off alternately, and an exciting current is generated on the primary winding 4 as indicated by arrow. Positive/negative voltages are generated on secondary winding side as indicated by arrows. A double voltage is obtained from a terminal 5 through charging and discharging of a condenser 14. When a load current decreases, a current of resistance 16 is increased by zener effect of a diode 6, the voltage sharply drips, TR17 is turned on, one of AND gates 19, 20 is closed to control TR12, 13 off, a current to supply to the transformer 4 is interrupted, therefore an extra power consumption can be eliminated.
