Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify a controlling circuit by exciting a motor field preliminarily by means of a filter condenser voltage at the time of commencing dynamic braking.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of braking, switches L1, L2 and power converters P1WP3 are opened, and then braking converters B1 and B2 are closed. A filter condenser Cf is charged at a line voltage by a braking converting diode DB3, a current flows in a motor field F to a preliminary exciting operation from controlling a chopper CH on/off, thus motor voltage and current are obtained. Then, where the filter condenser voltage comes to zero in addition, the motor current working at the time of chopper being on flows in the braking converting diode DB3 to give a normal dynamic braking state. A preliminary exciting device can thus be omitted thereby, and a controlling circuit can be simplified consequently.
