Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent uneven drying and moisture-reabsorption by a method wherein polymer pellets are crystallized in a main tank and then delivered to a hopper, where they are dried. CONSTITUTION:A hot blast being sent from a hot blast generating device 2 into a main tank 1 equipped with an agitator 3, amorphous granular bodies such as polyester pellets are crystallized in the tank 1, and these crystallized granular bodies are supplied into the hopper 5 for supplying materials of a material-consuming device 6 such as a forming machine by an appropriate transferring means 4, being dried in the hopper 5 by the moisture-removing heated air sent from a moisture- removing heating device 7 into the hopper.
