PURPOSE:To eliminate the adverse affect of dusts, rigidly abut the opposing surface of magnetic half cores and accurately set the length of the interval therebetween by inserting a linear gap spacer making linear contact with the opposing surfaces between he opposing surfaces and fixing them with adhesive. CONSTITUTION:When inserting magnetic half cores into magnetic half core passing hole 18a of a coil assembly 18, adhesive 16 such as epoxy resin or the like is placed in predetermined amount on the opposing surfaces 152a', 152b' of U-shaped magnetic half cores 151, 152, respectively, gap spacers 17a, 17b of linear rod state of regular circle in cross section are placed thereon, and the half cores 151, 152 are a butted. Since the spacers 17a, 17b are linear, they make linear contact with the opposing surfaces to extract the excessive adhesive 16 externally. Therefore, less adverse affect of the dusts occurs thereto.
