Abstract

PURPOSE:To miniaturize a transformer form without deteriorating the operating performance of the transformer by a method wherein the sectional area of a center leg of core is made in trapezoidal form and the sectional area of each left and right leg of core respectively in a triangle, and the inclined faces of center leg and the inside faces of each left and right leg confronting to this inclined faces are formed nearly in parallel. CONSTITUTION:The sectional areas of center legs 11c, 12c of transformer cores 11, 12 are made in trapezoidal form, each sectional area of left and right legs 11a, 11b, 12a, 12b is made respectively in a right-angled triangle and the inclined faces of center legs 11c, 12c are made nearly in parallel against the inside faces forming each diagonal face of left and right legs 11a, 11b, 12a, 12b. Each center leg 11c, 12c of the cores 11, 12 is inserted into a bobbin 13 from the both end faces respectively, and the end faces of the cores 11, 12 are made to come in contact closely with each other. The contacted faces of each leg are fixed with an adhesive, etc., and the cores 11, 12 are fixed to the bobbin 13.
