Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the installation space of a center return-type electromagnetic pump and to make the pipe arrangement easy by allowing the discharge passage of the pump to open into the inside of the discharge side of the piping, and installing a counterflow prevention mechanism between the opening and the piping. CONSTITUTION:The end of a discharge passage 16 of a center return-type electromagnetic pump which has a driving passage 13 between a pump duct 12 and an internal pipe 15, and the dischrge passage 16 inside the internal pipe 15, is provided with a discharge nozzle 17, and its port 18 is opened into the inside of the discharge side 11b of a piping 11. Installed between the nozzle 17 and the inner wall of the piping 11b is a ring 23 which, for example, contacts the taper surface of the nozzle 17, in order to form a counterflow prevention mechanism 20. As the mechanism, a bellows can be used. Thus, the inlet side 11a and the discharge side 11b of the piping 11 can be formed in one body, so that the installation space can be reduced, and the pipe arrangement can be made easy.
