Abstract

PURPOSE: To exercise arm-stop-position control and speed control with accuracy by equipping a control part with a correcting method which corrects count contents of an up/down counter.
CONSTITUTION: Tone arm 1 is supported by arm holder 2 and at the back end of the arm, counter weigt 3 is fitted. Arm holder 2, supported on traveling member 4, is movable along a couple of guide rails 6a and 6b. At the lower end of traveling member 4, magnet 9 is fixed which constitutes a field magnetic pole as the neede of a linear motor. Then, a couple of long magnetic members 10a and 10b are fitted to support tables 5a and 5b in parallel to guide bars 6a and 6b being a fixed clearance away from both poles of magnet 9. Those magnetic members 10a and 10b are wound with coils 11a and 11b and magnetic flux generated by magnet 9 intersects coils 11a and 11b. For the purpose, a current in a fixed direction and with a fixed value is supplied to either of coils 11a and 11b, thereby driving traveling member 4 in the fixed horizontal direction.
