Abstract
PURPOSE: To flocculate colloidal particles in a deep water layer efficiently and to precipitate them by a method wherein a coagulant is injected into the deep water layer while agitating the coagulant with pressure air.
CONSTITUTION: Pressure air is injected in the arrow 18 direction through an air hose 6, air in an air chamber is let fall, air is filled into the air chamber 5 and pushed up into a cylinder 1 on a dash-board 4 at a stroke and quickly as shown in the arrow 20 from a U tube 7, and water in the cyliner 1 is jetted from the upper end. In this case, an injecting 9 coagulant (for example, aluminum sulfate) is pushed up with wter, and jetted from the upper end of the cyliner 1. Meanwhile, suspended water in a deep water layer sucked 8 into the cylinder 1 is circulated as shown in the arrows 21→22→23 by means of the said operation, and the coagulant is efficiently mixed into the suspended water. That is, colloidal particles in the suspended water can also be coagulated and precipitated efficiently by injecting the coagulant into the suspended deep water layer of a dam, etc. by utilizing the pressure air.
