Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the high speed response and to avoid the relative potential variation, that is, the effect due to noise, by adding a few components in the optical coupling circuit requesting high speed response. When the digital input signal (a) is ''0'', the ''0'' signal is inverted at the inverter 14, the light emitting element 9 and the photo detector 10 are operated, and the light emitting element 3 and the photo detector 4 are inoperative. Accordingly, the output signal (d) is ''0''. If rapid potential change is produced between the DC power supplies 1 and 2, almost the same effect is given to the photo detectors 4 and 10. If rapid potential change gives effect on the both of the photo detectors 4 and 10 so that they are ON, noise current flowing to the photo detectors is equal to the both, no effect is given to the output.
