Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the desulfurization ratr of molten iron and utilization coefficient of calcium carbide, by combining calcium carbide with dry process collected dust produced in manufacturing process of calcium carbide. CONSTITUTION:100wt. parts of calcium carbide crushed in a suitable grain size, is combined with 5-120wt. parts of dry process dust of suitable grain size collected in calcium carbide manufacturing process and the above combined material is used for desulfurization of molten iron. The above collected dust is contained CaO, MgO, CaCO3, SiO2 and Al2O3 etc. By using the above desulfurizing agent, property of produced slag and separating property of desulfurized residuary substances, are improved.
