Abstract

PURPOSE: A feed for live stock that is made by mixing dried pineapple cake and powdery vicatin, thus being suitably used as a feed for cattle 6 or more months after the birth.
CONSTITUTION: The cake of pineapple is dewatered with a dewaterer and dried to about 11% water content in a drier. Vicatin with branches bearing leaves at it is, which is collected by cutting down in wild fields, is dried at 120°C for about 30min and then crushed into a powder. Both of the pineapple cake and the vicatin powder are incorporated in an appropriate proportion to give said feed.
