When the transistor Tr1 produces the voltage detection output voltage, the transistor Tr2 is conducted to energize the lamp L as an indicator and to ground the base of the transistor Tr1 through the transistor Tr2. Thus, the lamp L is retained in the energized state. Then, the electromotive force of the sensor LS is reduced when the liquid level drop of the electrolyte in the battery occurs to cut off the transistor Tr3 and to thus energize the lamp L.
