Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of intermodulation distortion, by interpreting the control channel signal CH received and transmitted between the master and slave stations by the relay station, and identifying the call CH required for the relay objective area and relaying the CH only through selection and amplification. CONSTITUTION:The electromagnetic waves from the master station are received at the antenna 1, distributed in m at the distributor 4 and amplified at the selection amplifiers 5-1-5-m, synthesized 7 via the high frequency switches 6-1-6-m, and transmitted to the slave station from the antenna 10. The electromagnetic waves from the slave station are received at the antenna 10, distributed by m, amplified at the selection amplifiers 13-1-13-m, synthesized 15, and transmitted to the master station from the antenna 1. The control unit 17 monitors the demodulated output b-1 of the amplifier 5-1 of the control CH transmitted from the master station at all times, detects the change-over instruction signal from the control CH to the call CH, interpretes the signal giving and receiving between the master and slave stations before the start of call, and detects the call CH frequency used. Thus, the control unit 17 selects the required call CH only and inputs it to the selecting amplifier, controlling the high frequency switch and performing the relay.
