Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform the commnication between mobile stations through the connection of one hop satellite line, by providing a means for separating a signal transmitted from a mobile station on a satellite and an antenna directivity switching means for transmitting the result of separation to an area where an opposite mobile station exists. CONSTITUTION:One of signals branched with branch amplifiers 31'33 in a satellite station 1 is transmitted to a base station 2 via a signal synthesizer 27. The other branched signal is inputted to an IF switch matrix 34 consisting of filter groups and switch matrixes, and the said matrix 34 separates each input signal into a frequency band corresponding to each audio channel and inputs it to any of signal synthesizers 35-37 through the instruction from the base station 2. The said signal synthesizers 35-37 synthesize the reception signal from the base station 2 with the input signal from the said IF switch matrix 34 and transmit the result to transmitters 15-17 for corresponding mobile stations 3-5. Thus, spot beams 8-10 are transmitted to each mobile station.
